I can get a 10" rck for $40, only thing is the only tank he can go in is one with a 12" ck in it thats never bin in with another knife. would hate for them to fight and damage each other do you for see this as a problem in the future

what size is the tank? and is there anything else in there?
i could deffintly see a issuse but i have heard of them getting along

Any time you put two knifes in a tank it can go well, or end in disaster. How big is the tank? The best way to do it is raise them from 3 inches or so together, but that won't work if they're both about a foot long.

I think right now, in your case, it depends on tank size and hiding places.:)

I thin if your RCK is 8" and above it will be ok and besided knife fish are usually friendly

:irked:Not royals and clowns. They prefer to be in a shoal when they're young, but as they get older, they get territorial. Like I said, it can go well, or end in disaster at that size. I think if you have a really good sized tank it would be better.

What size tank are you putting them in?
