hi, i'm very excited! my rcs just had their first babies! they are soooo tiny. i am glad i have a sponge filter and not a power filter. my question is, how many can i expect each momma to have? i have 3 pregnant atm, and 1 seems to have released or is releasing her babies, but i only see 4 babies. oh, this is a shrimp only tank so none are being eaten.

I'd expect there to be a lot more babies than just the 4 you've spotted. My estimate would be at least a dozen babies a spawn.
I had about 35 in the first batch. There aren't any fish in the tank so I assume there weren't many deaths. You can't really see many of them until about 2 weeks in when they get a little bigger. I only would see about 3 on the glass every morning when I first turned the light on and then they'd hide. They were about the size of fleas... Then more and more appeared until they were everywhere.
