My RD had fry and have separated them. The fry are getting sucked in by the filter and the male RD keeps going after them. The female is trying to fend off, but he is a lot bigger than her. After separating the fry, the male is now always going after the female and nipping at her. This is how they were before they had fry, in which he keeps attacking her. Now they are separated again. Is this normal?? When can I put them back together and what signs do I look for that its OK to put back together?? How often do RD breed?? I separated them for a long while and when I put them back together, they got along and had these fry in less than a week.
