not sure on sex i think female but i'm most likely wrong but i'm alot more sure thats a red devil but again could be wrong but i'm 95% possitive its a devil

looks quite young still. give it some more time, and you'll find out soon enough for sure.

Female devil is my guess because the fins aren't very long and theres no sign of a hump. You'll be able to tell easily in a couple of months when it starts getting bigger. Its probably not pure RD either but it looks to be more devil than midas. Unless you got it from a reputable source you'll never know. Good looking fish though.

that would be because this fish is still very young... i really don't know why ppl jump to conclusions based on this not very reliable way of sexing. and everyone knows with RD's long fins and hump on head don't mean squat for sexing these guys.

OP: half the pics seem to be gone... based on the one pic i can see, it looks to be a RD and still very young.
