cichlid city
could a reddevil pair, stay in a 75 gallon for life if they were brought up together.

yes they could i have a pair in a75 as well just keep a divider handy i use egg crate and prop it up with some bricks

yes but I'd keep a partial divider in the tank at all times just in case. red devils, midas, red terrors etc are species that are known to snap overnight and kill their mate before you ever see signs of a problem. if you don't provide some type of refuge for the female then there'll always be the chance that you could wake up one morning and find her dead. :)

I agree with the divider as well. I tried this but ended up with just one fish in the end since I did not have a divider. The rd in my signature pic is the winner of the 3 I had. Killed one over night, and I had to give the other away so he wouldn't hurt her.

Yo should be fine I had a pair in a 29...and they were fine as long as they are good with each other you'll be fine

I moved my rd from a 29 to a 75 with a oscar and a pike cichlid. Now my large 7 inch buttikoferi is in the 29 gallon for now
