people keep tellin me to get dividers for a 75 to get two rd in a 75.will they stunt in there because that would be like having a 37 gallon for each rd.

I have 2 rd but only one is in a 75 gallon i was just thinking about adding the other one until now.for filtration there is a penguin 350 and a whisper 60

jeff rapps said i could use a divider for the fish and they would be fine.well i guess thats out the question now.........but i really wanted that wild rd.:irked:

The reason the tank is too small is agression the best tank mates for red devils are rocks. If you are going to keep two or a breeding pair I would recommend a 90+ gallon tank they like to take as much territory as possible. There is not enough territory in a 75 gallon for two they will fight and the most dominant will kill the other or harrass the female possibly to death. You may get away with putting a divider up but I would opt for a bigger tank or only one red devil.

well you could think about giving the RD u dont really want to a lfs and keep the the one u want more because until you can provide a bigger home for them 2 RDs is out of the question
