over the last week i have notest my rds color is changing to a white my water is good and he eats good i now they go threw color changes but is white a normal one hes still yellowy but with some white bloches and on the dorsal fin

That's perfectly normal for an RD. His colors may change many more times before it's all over with.

yes its normal. over the course of almost all RD life they go through color changes. Mine was yellow the all black then half and half then all red

i had a black one wen he was a juvie and know he is all red

Agreed, they do change colors in their youth especially. Mine occasionally has white and/or black spots on him.

yeah i think most devils go through that color change, mine was pink at 2 inches,so i named him Pinky,then he went through a phase where he had black markings on his fins, now at 7 inches he is bright orange , and since he has so many bodies i was thinking about changing his name to O.J
