what would this fish be called i have four but none are showing any color just pearls the largest is about 3 - 4 inches. they were sold to me as red texas

they were sold as a mix of amphilophus and herichthys, they wont say whitch ones but red devil and carpinte are assumed. i have bought from them before and had no problems i got them in oct at about 1 inch apeice now about four or so. i had a short body but it died on me but still have 4 left

yes I think you right mix rd and gt(green texas) but not red texas, because I breed my rd with my red texas, most of them will faded after three or four inches

i keep hoping ill have some late faders the red stripe at the top of the dorsal looks like jack dempsy to me. when should i give up on these and let them go to lfs for simple flower horn fry
