chompers gave me a few ideas so ill see if i can get them rolling
185 gallon tank
30 gallon sump
quite 1 3000 (70gph) pump
1.5 bottomed drilled durso stand pipe
looks like this
k tank is 180 gal
quite 1 3000
bout 5 feet head
about 500gph
about 3x turnover
so with big cichlids i should be about 7x turnover
about 1260 gph
so i need a bigger pump any ideas?
and i need to over flow more water into the sump
so i might just scrap the drilled durso cause its only over flowing 700 gph out and i dont think i can improve its performance
so i guess i build some diy overflows
