Hey I just picked up a 90 gal outta the trash, only problem is it leaks alot. I've never re-sealed a tank before so if anyone can give me a quick check list I'd be very happy, I can't wait to get my fish in there.

a gallon of vinegar, rags, razor blades, several tubes of ge silicone 1, and time

yep

if you search theres lots and lots of threads about this with tons of info.. i dont think theres one super thread that answers every question but a lil searching will do ya some good

I found a 90 gal out for the thrash the other day, I was as giddy as a school girl impersonator. My friends sister helped me bring it back to my house sticking half way out of her old ford taurus' trunk hwer brother had to run behind the car carrying the tank.

neat good find one person's trash is in fact another's treasure

pics?

Also i picked up a tube of 100% silicon marine/ auto sealent
Specification: C 920, class 25, type S, grade NS.

Is this ok to use.
