Ok, I think i need to reseal the 30gal. I can move the seal about .5'' from the corner. Basically the thin layer around the corner. Should I reseal it? And what all will I need to do it. Plus how bad will the cost be?

nothing I thought someone wlda chimed in by now...

Are you resealing the whole thing? I think you should. It would be about a $20 hit to repair it at max. You need 2 GE I windows and doors from homedepot or lowes and a few blades for removing the old silicone and also lots of time. Trust me, i had to reseal my 110 gallon all alone. Do not buy GE II, i did it the 1st time with it and i popped! I use GE II bc i wanted black silicone :(

Alrite thanks and yea ill probly redo the whole thing. What do I use to remove the silicone???

With a razor blade, they are about 50 cents each.

Is there any major threat to rlly scratching the glass bad?

no not at all really, just get the angle right and lots of blades needed. then just use some acetone once its all removed to clean the area, (even grease from finger prints can effect the bond)

then resilicone,

use duct tape to hold the sides together whilst it sets, another idea is to run a line of masking tape down the side about .5" from the edge, so this can be peeled back whilst the silicnoe is still tacky to give a nice finished edge.

hope this helps.
