Re-sticking heat pads?

I got a heat pad on another tank and I want to transfer it...Is it possible to do?

I just duct tape it to the bottom of the tank.

Well "They" say not to re-stick them but I've done it before without any problems. Just try your best not to bend it. Obviously you have a better chance of damaging it when you try this.

ive never done it but like they said dont bend it and duck tape it back on

if you try to restick it it wont work or your pad wont work at all

clear packaging tape is 10 times better that duct tape. i've done it tons of times with no prob.
