long story short...

holiday, house-sitter, massive die off, hundreds of dollars down the drain, need more fish...

i currently have a blue damsel, bar goby, and a pygmy angel
a couple of different LPS and soft corals and some monti cap. as well as some various snails and hermits, sally lightfoot and skunk cleaner shrimp

looking for ideas, i'm getting another 2-3 bar gobies for sure

that sucks, um what type of tank are you going for, a peaceful community or a predator tank? That damsel may be a prob for other fish depending on how long it's been in the tank to establish a territory.

a few of my faves:

flame hawk (make sure he's small or he might eat the shrimp/crabs)
blue dot or yellowhead jawfish (if you have tops)
banggai cardinals
powder blue tang (if you get a small one)
copperband butterfly (make sure it's conditioned to eat frozen foods)
flame angel (they're coral nippers though)

just a few suggestions, most being peaceful

yeah the damsel appears to be a troublemaker
he sleeps near the surface so he's easy enough to remove if need be

i'd like to not get another dwarf angel as i kind of got lucky with the one i already have as far as coral nipping goes...
definitely some sort of jawfish
and i'd also like to stay away from tangs as much as possible, foxafaces and such are cool though

maybe something like:
1 longnose B fly
3 waitei anthias (if i can get money before they sell out)
1 jawfish
and like an orchid or aldabraensis dottyback, or couple of grammas?

I would just stick to reef safe fish that are non-aggressive and be done with it lol

haha... that's not exactly a small category to choose from

or you could get a species tank which I really been gun ho on like a Eel or a predator tank with a mated pair of triggers and some cool inverts that will be compatible with them or fill the tank up with money and send it to me lol

no... no i think i'll keep my tank and money right here :D

i'm thinking maybe
3x bar gobies
1x one spot foxface or longnose b'fly
1x springer or arab dottyback
2-3x engineer gobies
and if i can get rid of the damel (or if he's cool) 4-5 chromis... not greens, maybe vanderbilts, yellow shoulders, or these wierd little ones i found at an LFS, or possibly duskies
