Now that i got my 125 up and running with my new fx5 and made it a native tank.
I have my 55g with 2 small firemouth cichlids and 2 crayfish.
I have sand substrate and an marineland emp 400 on it.
I wanted to make this a peaceful, community tank and need help on what to put in.

I was thinking of may be like 1 or 2 angle fish for sure

Gourami?

how do you keep the crayfish from eating ur fish? i've had wild crays before but always alone O_o

Only problem with that is that in my exprience, is that gouramis and other large cichlids don't mix well with angels because of fin nipping if not more. Just something to be aware of....as for suggestions a school of peppered corys, 2 firemouths, bristlenose pleco, school of hatchet fish, and a school of colombian tetras would look nice.

I feed them frozen blood worms and they seem to stay away from each other.

But i dont think cory catfish will work with the crays

angel fish for sure :D
i had 9 growing up until my 55 until it cracked last night D:

ouch! (first day i got my 55g my mom said "if that thing falls over or breaks your paying for all the water damage) I didnt sleep for a couple nights

haha yeah i had lightning quick reactions with millions of buckets and lots of hoses draining it :)
unfortunately i just had to smash it into peices with a sledge hammer to be able to put it in the bin for rubbish day tomorrow, just gotta keep my eye out for a better down quickly. My angel fish will be way to big for the 30 gallon soon :/
