im am going to re-stock a 600 gallon pond and was wondering what to get. prefferably not goldfish/koi or natives already done both of those. outdoor pond a few minor freezes in winter months

can you get a couple of large heater so that the pond can stay 78f all year ?

that needs to be done before stocking

i dont know you should ask some peeps that have large outdoor ponds

The biggest cost would not be the heaters themselves, but the electricity that they would chew up. When it gets the coldest in the winter we have heaters in insulated water troughs for the live stock and they make a very noticable difference in the electric bill.

yea your gonna wanna go with like 5ish 500W + heaters

yea that to lol

oh boy lots of money going the heater option i might just stick to koi and goldfish i have 4 goldfish in a 25 gallon bucket it was 24 degrees a couple nights ago it froze over about a half inch and those goldfish are still alive i have so many stories wit goldfish about how they wont ever die.most durable fish i think
