re wolf fish: do scales grow back?

Hi I was wondering if A scale from my red wolf will grow back. today as I checked my fish, i noticed that a single scale was on the bottom of the tank. I soon realized that my red wolf fish had a single scale missing on it's body. i almost certain that it was caused by my wolf goinng in and out of my flowerpot hiding spot with blunt edging. Will the scale grow back? how long will i need to wait??? Need answere ASAP.

Yes the scale will grow back. I had a black wolf that scrapped with a midas and when i separated them in a few weeks the wolf grew back all the scales he had lost in the fighting.
