1x18" CBG
3x16" LNG's
2x15" FLG's
1x 20" M.dayi (spiney eel)
1x12" Fire eel
1x16" TSN
1x14" TSNxRTC hybrid
1x20" Aba aba knife

Tanks I have at my disposale

120wide
75
56
40B

and 10'x30" intex pool in the mail. approx 1,100 gallons.

What to keep and what to move? what to sell?

I would probably separate the eels (spiny - 75, fire -56), but that's just me since I am ultra safety oriented. What Chub_by said otherwise sounds good.

no, the aba needs his own tank.. and I was thinking along those lines but maybe putting the fire into the pools sump set-up until he's bigger, or maybe the m.dayii and growing out the fire in the 75

I'm pretty sure the M. dayi is about fully grown ( she's already exceeded the max captive sizes that I'm aware of) the M dayi has killed other spineys in the past so I was going to add I don't think adding her w/ the fire is going to work unless they where in the 1,100.

and I'm worried about the cats and gar long-term ie when the cats are pushing 2'+ and larger then the FLG's at least if not the others.

well i think you wont have a problem with longnose and cuban sinche they grow more large and faster. you shoulld be worring about your florida gar i that what it is. sine they mas max out at 2 ft and when cats get 3 ft bang

Thanks guys.. I am thinking long term the cats will need their own pool, but it should work for another few years with the gar? Then the fire eel should be large enough to go in with the gar w/out much fear of predation. and the aba aba will eventually need something bigger then the 120.. but hes already slowed to 1" or so every 4-6monthes. So i'm thinking long term he'd be happy in the 300DD by marineland or something among similar lines. maybe a 300 stock until i can build something more permanent.

So end up with something like

1k pool - gar,eel/s, maybe add some rays ( atm this is the combo in the 120 and works well other then space being tight)
1k pool - big cats ( If i went this route i'de likely wanna add a RTC, and planiceps. so 4 big cats total)
300-500 - aba aba

Sounds good, I would add some mid-water fish to the final gar/eel tank to swallow aggression between the gar and eels.
