has anyone ever seen a pleco with long fins, my lfs has one, this off white pleco has 4-5 fins that are very long-fanned out and beautiful, they flow behind hm like long goldfish fins. never have seen anything like him. he is listed as a long fin pleco. just wondered if anyone has ever seen one and if they are typically ( rare ) empensive ? anything ? they want 75.00 for him. if they are rare i could pick him up for someone and ship him or whatever.

pics would make it easier to know what your talking about...

are they trailers like on the tigrunius..?

shipping is about 30-70$ so you think u would save that much... maybe if u get something eles it could be worth it

thats gross

Did it look like this? If so $75 seems pretty high, I think I paid $25 for mine.

That is really high, I can get like 7 for $10.

Yeah it sounds like a long finned albino BN, they are huge prices! They are normaly a cheap plec

There are a few varieties of albino BN plecos that have the long fins. The one pictured above is fairly cheap, however, I have seen a mottled albino, also known as Ancistrus Temmincki that had long fins, and was albino. They still don't get up to $75, but $50 is about average for them
