There comes a time when one must realizes that even tho you think you know how to do something...maybe you should read the instructions anyway. My time is now!
I am spray painting the back of my new 240 long since I might get my stand tomorrow and can start the setup. Last night I pretty much had it finished with a few good light coats. So tonight I was going to go back over it with another good coating...but tonight I thought I might just put it on a little thick this time to get Good coverage and now im not so worried about drips.
Well as soon as I started some spots started to wrinkle up and I freaked
. It looked nasty and you could see it from looking through the front of the tank...not good. I was worried I wouldnt be able to get it off to fix it...and if I can get it off am I going to be able to see these spots every time I look in the tank...and now I only have gloss paint not flat like I used last night.
Well....I scraped it off with a razor and it was a gummy mess. To let everyone know...gloss and flat paint look exactly the same on glass...and you CANT tell where I made the mistakes from looking through the front of the glass...thank goodness!!!!!
Back of the tank is a different story...but no one will see that.
So I then look on the back of the can and what do I see in black and white
It had only been 24hrs...son of a *****!
Here are some other pics of the wrinkle effect and how it looked after I hit it with a blade and how it looks now. Enjoy...and read the darn instructions
