okii i have a mbuna tank. there assorted i only know afew of kinds of them. i have a breeding pair of yellow labs. the female is in a nursery tank with an egg waiting to bless thetank with its first ever batch. but i know have a female metriaclima estherae with babys in her mouth. they have cute little eyes.. they are about a millimetre long as far as i can see. but should i put her in the nursery with the lab? i think they mite fight. what shall i do. becuase the metriaclima estherae looks like she is ready to spit them out at any time now..

i would let them be i have a mixed tank as well and mine had breed and they are all fine the mother will be protective of them

so its a go ahead to put the mommy lab and the mommy metriaclima estherae in the nursery then?

Put the estherae in another tank and let her spit or you can strip her in another tank or container.

If you put them in the same tank and the estherae spits her babies out, the yellow lab still has potential to kill that babies because it can be a possible threat to the labs babies.

My female metriaclima estherae (red zebra) has dropped her babies this mornin. she had 5. 4 Clear/White and 1 dark black/brown.
