Red devil or Midas

Do you think it is a red devil?

ANYONE???

It's most likely a red devil/midas hybrid. unless you got it from a reputable breeder or importer then there's no way to say for sure which one it is. I'd say it looks more midas than red devil but it's definitely one or the other...or more likely both. :)

It's not an F0 and they tend to lose the large fleshy lips in captivity when they no longer constantly use them to suck crustaceans out of rocky crevices. It's a RD/Midas.

This is correct...also red devils tend to have a more slender body compared to the stockier midas. This fish looks more slenderish like a RD but the snout looks more Midas. Like many have already said...it's most likely a mix of both. :)
