real gar chomping on fake gar

Ctenolucius hujeta anyone in the world have any experience with this? I found mine in my florida gars head I made the gar let him go and separated them put him in a 300 gallon. He doesn't look hurt at all but the gar had a strong hold on his head. Do they have protection?

They are rocket gars I believe from what I've mentioned. They need to moved out of ur tank. Another tank or divider. They stay small compared to a Florida gar and will likely not make it next time. I have had them prior in schools of 5. Awesome small predators and can be trained on pellets.
