I saw a documentary tonight called Superheroes, and it's literally about people across the US that dress up in costume and go out and "fight crime." At first I thought it was a joke mock-umentary like Spinal Tap but it's 100% for real. It was kind of endearing in the end (although I'd say they are probably a little misguided ;)), a diverse group of people with interesting backgrounds and viewpoints and made for a good couple hours.

Has anyone else seen it? Or heard of it? Seen any in real life? Thoughts?

Oh, what would your superhero alter identity be? :nilly:

there was a guy in socal that walked around at night in a costume. but he didn't fight bad guys or anything. all he wanted to do was report it if he saw any crime or suspicious activity

it was on the news last year

the "super heroes" in the hbo clip are just a bunch of wackos looking to get attention and get paid, imo

just more reality show hopefuls, or hopelesses, depending on who you ask

btw, my superhero name would obviously be my mfk name.

I was told about this documentary recently. I thought it sounded pretty boring/ridiculous and after watching the trailer, it has confirmed my thoughts. Idiotic... If you wanna go pick up liter then go pick up liter. Don't have to look like a moron while doing so. Lol.

There was a guy that used to walk around my old neighborhood with a long staff and a leather duster. We called him "The Protector".

He worked at Burger King during the day. LOL

Watched this a couple of weeks ago and still laughing about it. Especially with master legend(or something like that) drinking a tall boy every chance he gets.
