Has anyone seen any pics or in person a mystus nemurus thats over about 12-14". I have some sort of albino mystus which is about 20-25cm (8-10") barely growing if at all in a 180 that im guessing being albino is a nemurus. They are worth a fair bit here and i payed a few hundred for it so dont really want that much tied up in a fish thats not exactly what i want and would much prefer to sell it if its going to stay smallish and get something i know gets over 20". But i would also hate to sell it and then find out they are real slow growers and can get over 20" but just takes years. Its a really cool cat and would look awesome double what it is now so has anyone ever spotted big guys on fishing sites or anyone from Asia seen any big ones around?? I know it doesnt mean much but just about all sites say they get over 24" and i just dunno how they can all be so wrong. Would love to see pics of some monsters.

Albino Asian redtail is what i bought it as but i was pretty sure thats not what it is. I will try to get pics up but i dont have a digi cam so makes it hard. It looks exactly like the albino nemurus on planet catfish. All the pics they have on the bio section are small except for the one big guy which looks more like a redtail so i dunno what to think. Since they are faming them in Asia i would of thought it would be easy to get a size on them. Come on someones gotta know.
There is someone on here who has had one for ten years in a 15000g tank and its still only twelve inch, doubt they ever get 18"

Yeah thats what i figured and ide seen the 15,000g one. Just was hoping something had gone wrong with the fish or the id. Its just weird all the sites say they get so big and i know the Asians (not to be rude) eat some weird stuff and arent worried about eating small fish but they seem abit small to farm if they only get 12". Oh well looks like i might havta get rid of him.
