Just found these at my local Target store that has all of their Christmas stuff 70% off. Just paid 60 cents for a ten pack of these that I plan on using on my filter bags for carbon, ammonia chips, bio media, etc. I normally tie my filter bags in a loose knot on the end that ends up being a pain to deal with when it comes time to untie and replace. Otherwise, I've used zip ties which need to be cut carefully and replaced.
These are really heavy duty and nice (I can tell they won't get brittle and snap) and just pop in and out of place making them completely reusable. Sometimes it's the little things that get me excited I guess-figured it was worth sharing as I know you guys and gals have dealt with this before.
