I expected one of either species to start beating on the other, but they get along really well. I have three female mosquitofish with pair of paradise fish, all adults. I just thought somebody else might have tried something like this before with disastrous results. Any word? Is this a time-bomb? Should I try adding the male mosquitofish to see if they can work in there, too?

I have had nearly that exact setup and nothing bad ever happened. The only thing I would worry about is the paradise fish pair not getting along, but other than that, it should be fine.
Adding the male mosquito would probably be a bad idea. They are so much smaller and less aggressive than their female counterparts that they normally get bullied.

Oh, really? I was afraid they'd rape the paradise fish. But maybe it's just inbred guppies that do that. I've seen guppies rape everything. Maybe mosquitofish use more discretion? Hopefully?
