First off i only have app so i wasn't able to search for more on small snails.

Okay so i have a 240g tank anf over the pass few months I've notice them damn small i mean small snails.. I use to just over look them cuz they never gotten bigger then a grain oh sand. But now im noticing more n more. I want.them gone. Can i just do a light salt bomb? Im redoing my tank so every w/c i do i taking out the sand.

Sounds like Malaysian trumpet snails. Salt bomb won't kill them. Copper solution will wipe most, if not all of them, but is no guarantee. Puffers are about the only snail-eaters that can handle the snail's tough shell. Larger loaches may keep the numbers down, too. Usually, once you have them there's no way to get rid of all of them short of a tear down and bleaching.
On the positive side, MTS aerate your substrate, consume uneaten foods and detritis (including unmetabolized fecal material, and eat hair algae and cyanobacteria.

I agree with Oddball. Those snails won't hurt anything and are a beneficial part of the aquarium eccosystem. Only way to get rid of them is bleach.

Just out of curiosity, how do they get in the tank?

I say keep them there. Depending on the type of fish, snail are usually a good source pf food for them. I keep cichilds and rays and i throw in snails every.now and then just for the variety.

I say kill them all. I had a few small snails that got in by plants and how i have a full infestation. I mean like a moving bed when i clear my cotton wool. They are everywhere.

Typically from plants, decor, gravel/sand, or driftwood that was transferred from another tank (yours or from a store). Snails and their eggs attach to surfaces and when you put these items in your tank they hatch and thrive. The egg mass is a small slimy patch that's hard to see. I've had snails in my tanks ever since I've been keeping fish (over 12 years). I've kept various species of plants over the years and I've noticed them in all of my tanks. I see them in my 210 but I don't mind them. They are beneficial and I really have to look to find them. I see a few in my filter pads while doing water changes and I sometimes pick them out and throw them back in the tank. The largest ones get to be the size of a BB.

I dont think they are mts.... To small unless i got small gen. Their cone shape tho but are way to small. So idk. I have one massive jardini in the tank so i cant add another fish. Im going bb tank for a little so i might move him and bleach it
