Need to add caves and move some things around.

Definitely a pleco tank! I'd like to see some close ups of the various caves, and hiding places!

Hah I did! Here is the thing. I noticed that all my plecos were jamming up in the left side of the tank. When I'd put in the famous shish kabob they would all go after the same kabob. So I figured they needed more caves, and hopefully that would help spread them out. Well come to find out, it worked a little. It's spread them out so not so many in the left side. I made 4 small flat rock caves, and one big one. The big one was intended for my big pseudo. but he stuck with the fake log. Actually I think a little lepoard frog is trying to claim it. I also pulled my pvc tubes wrapped in turf out, and capped the ends. I'll post closeups of the caves later.

Looks great, must be a pain to gravel siphon!

More caves, more spawning sites eh?!?! It looks great. There are a lot of hides facing in different directions, and different sizes. Perfect!

I know it's not the prettiest tank, but I want to try to induce some breeding. I'm hoping that I can figure out a general setting for the water for a number of different plecos. Wouldn't it be just great if I could get 10 or more species to spawn under the same water conditions? High hopes I guess. We'll just have to see what happens. That way we can tell weither it's the different season's, or water condition that induces spawning. I've got a nice breeding log going right now. In a few months or so I'll be able to make some sense of all the data. For now I'm concentrating on growing out a few species. Power feeding, and frequent water changing is moving the process along nicely. By power feed I do not mean over feed. I mean larger portions of a wide variety of foods.

stopped the flames with the last sentance eh ;) lol. I'm sure if you do it right for a one of your species, you may well trigger some others. Seasons affect water conditions ;)

i think it looks good. not to plain, and not to overly fake! good job
