reason for fish purchase

almost every other member who voted bought fish within the last week. What is your motivation?

I've been reading all the posts about Bichirs recently and I just HAD to have one... so I went and got one!! What a great idea they are F***ing AMAZING I just love them!!! They look like little lizards or Dinosaurs wow!!!!

And I've wanted a Blue Dempsey for some time.. so I got one to grow out in my 29 gallon.. so this weekend was a big fish buying one for me!!

last fish was in stock for the first time in over a year, and i had regretted not buying it then. so i guess you could say couldn't resist, but voted other

The fish I bought doesn't come by often, didn't want to miss it. Couldn't resist.

i am an impulse buyer most of the time... but its ok i have room for almost anything

Definately in the "couldn't resist" category. It is rare to find anything interesting where I live. The "couldn't resist" scheme of fish buying has taken its toll though.
Spontaneous buying tendencies have lead to having lots of fish per tank meaning water changes about every other day. I think about drip systems...... alot!

I know. suppose to check first beofre you buy fish. You know, what it eats, how is the maintenance, etc...but when I see it, and I WANT it, it's like, I gotta have it! it's an obsession.
