Reasons for liking Dats?

Ive been planning a tank, and have started becoming interested in Dats. After watching some of the vidoes on here they seem really cool. I was wondering what reasons different people on here for keeping dats. What attracts you to them?

they look GREAT, get big, are responsive, have distinct personalities, get along with other big fish, etc, etc, etc,

I really like the looks of them, they look majestic and ancient. The fins,colors,stripes and shape all add up to make them one of my favorites.

They just seem so cool when they're big. It's fun trying to see how fast you can get them to a large size. They grow slow, but I known someone who said he got his to grow from 3" to 12" in a year.

I like them because of their body shape and fins, their golden color with jet black bars (represents Tiger Stripes), the bigger they are... the better they look.

I regret that i didn't start Dats tank before. I can easyly get widebar and very cheap. My friend into Dats and I was into piranha. Now I am taking time of from piranha and getting to Dat myself. I got into Dats about couple month now.

I love the gold color when their stable, the personality are great. Will eat from you hands. Can live with other fish, and fun to wacth in the tank.
