I am relatively new to DIY, but I have made a few stands and filters. I would like to disassemble my 56 gallon glass aquarium (30"L x 18"W x 24"H) and recycle the glass to make a (30"L x 24"W x 18"H) glass aquarium. Mine main concern with moving forward is that the bottom of the tank has been made with tempered glass. I am not sure if I can use tempered glass for a side panel. Any advice with working with tempered glass would be beneficial. Thank you.
