I have had my Ray for about 4 or 5 months now and I have noticed a few of his poop clumps have been floating today. Not all of them. He seems happy and healthy, but he also spit up his most recent worm. Just wondering if this is any cause for concern. Thanks.

No experience with rays but my guess would be food containing high levels of starch or wheat? What do you feed it would be the most important question ?

Ive personally never had a rays poop float. I have seen rays puke up their food though. That happens. You sure its ray poop and not another tank mates?

Yea the poop is to big for his tank mates silver dollars angle fish brisel nose plecos a bgk and one loach, so the vomiting is nothing to be consered with.

Id say if it vomits every time it eats then you have a problem. Just cut the worm in smaller bits. It shouldn't be vomit. It should just be the worm that comes back out. Right?
