Hi there, I recently moved to a new place and had to move my Parachanna Obscura; it was quite an ordeal moving him as he is very aggressive (no one got bit). We moved him in a smaller tank and he is now in his large tank again but hasn't eaten the fish we put in for him a couple days ago. Other than not eating the fish he seems to be acting normal, swimming around and paying attention to everything around him... should I be worried or will he just eat them when he feels like it?

P.S. usually as soon as we drop a fish in for him it's gone in the blink of an eye.

I wouldn't worry about it too much at this point. The move can be stressfull and it's not uncommon for fish to be put off their feed by it. I would suspect once it becomes more comfortable with its new surroundings it will start eating again.

Agreed , nothing to worry about, Most snakeheads a over fed , and they can go long periods of time without food. So ad stress of a move, or introduction to a new tank and they often will loose there appetite , but when hunger set's in it'll come back!

I was thinking he would just eat it eventually, thank you. He only gets fed about twice a week and is usually quite excited come feeding time... hopefully he will become more comfortable in his new home!

Im sure he will, I agree with what was said stress of moving and new home for sure. Out of curiosity how bog is he now and how big when you got him ? what size tank do you have him in?
