Prepare a mash of 2/3 beef-heart or lean beef and 1/3 spinach. Minced small enough for small fish. After mixing, 50 gram portions are frozen in small plastic bags then later thawed as needed.
Now, to a small tin can, add 50 ml cold water and 1 gm powdered agar agar. A tiny amount of red food dye makes the feed more appetizing. Stir with a small fork while heating the can of mix in a water bath until the agar dissolves and the solution thickens. At about 80 deg. C., stir in the 50 gm beef mash. The medication to be added is stirred into the liquid mash just before solidification. Many anti-biotics do not tolerate heat, so the feed must be quickly cooled down quickly in a refrigerator. The finished feed has a solid, rubbery texture. It can be keep in the refrigerature for upto 3 days.

P.S. this preparation is an excellent way to prepare your own Gourmet foods for
your fish. No anti-biotic!!!. My fish love it with GARLIC. Sometimes I add
powdered Chicken Broth Mix, my fish go crazy for it!!!

AnY ways have fun an experiment, find out what your fish like.
