recomend me a south american catfish

well the title almost says it all. it has to be able to go along with ca cichlids. and be predatory. i dont care if it is a sit and wait or an active hunter. i have kept pictus and loved em, but want to change it up a little. the tank is a 125 btw, so no rtc

I have a sun/eclipse catfish in my tank. Should be fine in a 125, slow grower.. very cute. After a year mine is at about 8". He's a cruiser when the lights are out... stalks the tank like a shark.

Did you not read the post? He said predatory, so he probably means medium sized catfish with a sizeable mouth. And corydoras would be cichlid food.

To the OP: I suggest you spend some time on PC to browse for what you want. You may find a few cats you never knew that existed. And some that aren't as common as limas/sun cats/pictus'.

Sun cats are not South American, but will do well with large aggressive SA/CA cichlids.
