recomendation...?

i want to try something new(rays) but want to start small. please recomend a small ray and the min tank size

I'm thinking more about Retics or Hystrix, a Motoro wil outgrow that tank size in no time. Even for retics and Hystrix this tank will be to small, mature they can reach 30cm (12") easily.

Motoros are one of the most hardiest rays. I wouldnt recommend retics or hystrix for your first ray even tho they dont get as big.

A Retic might be harder to keep? I'll go with a Hystrix or a Motoro, easy stuff to keep. We don't get many Retics or Hystrix where I live.

motoro for a starter ray... unless you have the money then leos are really hardy rays... minimum tank would be 6x4x2....but a rubbermaid 300 gallon pond would make a pair or trio pretty happy for life....
