anyone know of some good online frontosa vendors?

Stastek (a member here) has some. Or try cyphos.com and frontosa.com in the "For sale/trade" section. There are always people who have high quality F1 frontosas for sale.

man i never knew how expensive fronts were, i just want 1M/3F and i dont want to pay 450$

I have a colony. 1 Male 4 females all of them 4-8 inches.. 225.00 shipped pm me if interested.

It depends on which variant you get and whether you want Wild caught or F1. Wild caught Tanzanian variants will run $75-$120 each, F1 1" juvies will be $10-$15 each. Zaire variants will run $150-$175 each, F1 1" juvies will run $25-$35 each.
First decide how big the tank will be before you buy. If you get wild caught frontosas then you will need a 6foot long tank. If you get F1 juvies then a 55gal to start off with will be ok.

oh forgot to mention i would like larger ones, and they will be going into a 125 as soon as i get them

Now you have to decide which variant you want. If you aren't looking to spend too much money then I would look into either Kipili, Mpimbwe, Kigoma, Samazi, or Bismarck frontosas. There's many more but those are my favorites. Of course, the Zaire variants will run much more $$$$....:grinno:
