Hi all,

Was just wondering if any of you can recommend some books on bichirs.

I have the aqualog book which is cool (lots of pics) but I'm after something that has more to do with keeping the fish.

:)

Thanks

I have the "jurassic fish" book. A bit hard to find though from my side of the world. It has good points on breeding, but I agree, that this sites offer a lot of info. It has other topics rare and exotic fishes as well.

Of course the stickies is a world of knowledge, but having some books in store is handy. Not sure where I read it... Guess 'Beblondie' - Anne had a post on the books I guess... :)

PS: I hope Anne you are well, wherever u r....

great book

Thanks all.
Resources on this forum are awsome, but am after a bit of reading for the fun of it :)
I'll check out Jurassic Fishes. I've heard of it from our local fish forum in Perth, Western Australia. However it's pretty hard to find and Amazon charge a fortune for postage :(
Oh well, senegal bichirs go for like $400, ornates $1000 and tigers $2000 so will have to spend the money researching before I kill several thousands worth of fish haha

I also have this aqualog book. It is great and propperly the best book you will find on that subject.

Well I think I just got lucky to get the Jurassic Book. If you want, I can lend it to you, as long as you look after it and send it back to me. It's currently on loan to another member and she got the Aqualog book as well. Pm me and will sort somthing out. Happy to help out.

Thanks all.
