recommend me a filter..

guys, i am in hunt of a filter for my 55G (for discus) can you recommend me any filters that are good ones? because too many filters in the market, i can't decide which to get.. the cheap the better,

most discus tanks are planted so if thats your case get a magnum350 canister filter. They can be had on ebay used for little money. There are better ones out there but I have been using a magnum for 8 years with no problems and the price is great.

cant get any cheaper than the Cascade filters. i have a Cascade 1500 on my planted 55g. paid about $100 for it on ebay. its not an eheim or fluval, but it sure does the trick! great filters for the money

if you go eheim classic them i suggest the 2217. the flow of the 2215 is really dissapointing imo.
