Lightning for a standard 4ft 90gallon question. I already have a dual tube HO T5 that I'd like to use, but I was also looking at the Beamsworks LEDs. I plan on keeping low/med light plants - anubias, vals, swords, crypts and some floaters with root tabs. No CO2

Which fixture would you go with -The T5s or the LEDs? Open to other LED recommendations that won't break the bank also

With a tank that tall an evo quad works work. I say go led. Less heat, less power consumption

I use vivagrow and aquaneat as well. I haven't tried them on a tank that tall yet though

I have a Fluval Aquasky LED. A bit spendy when you get the four foot length, but will keep the plants mentioned alive.
I have heard good things about Finnex 24/7 lights. They are LEDs with a tiny brain that changes up the spectrum of light emmited over the course of the day mimicking the sun, with sunrises and sunsets.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into those.

Any other light recommendations? Are Beamsworks not suitable for even low light plants?
