Alright so I finally have my Tiger Oscar, EBJD, and Green Terror (all 1-2" atm). Now I'm looking for a 4th and final cichlid, my tank is 150g. Here's the specifications of what I'm looking for...
  • Must grow to be at least 8" in length
  • Must be a South/Central American cichlid
  • Must have a dominant color(s) (like the EBJD and GT). Ones with unique markings are preferred but not required
  • Must be passive or semi-aggressive in attitude
I have 2 in mind, but I'm curious to hear what all of you have to say from your experiences. Hopefully your input will help me make up my mind and make this final decision soon!

Tank size would be helpful :)

Um, I've heard Red Terror/Festae's get to be 15-16" and are SUPER aggressive. I'm not sure if that would be the best choice, but they certainly do look wonderful.

Lyonsi may not be a bad idea either, I'll look more into that one

While I know it is NOT SA/ CA, the riverine African cichlids water parameters are more similar to SA/ CA cichlids than African rift lake cichlids.

I keep Paratilapia Polleni with my Oscars with no problem at all. The small blue pokadots on the black body are simply incredible. The large spot tilapia are awsome to, however those I keep with Jewels and have not tried them with Oscars.
