Im probably gonna sell all my fish except my Raphael cat. Im not for sure what i wanna get but i want the fish to be semi aggressive. I was thinking a EBJD and some eels or a polleni and a few more raphaels. Any suggestions on what to stock my tank with?
-note i know a polleni isnt a semi aggressive fish but ive always liked em. Any suggestions will help.

whatever you desire. just take a good long look at your tank and imagine a peaceful but entertaining stock of whatever you dream. good luck and i hope this kind of helped aha

any specific fish that are semi aggressive cichlids that are cool lookin and can live with other fish?

I have a 55 gallon, that being said I am not a fish expert, I would go with either fresh water angel fish or what i think is one of the coolest fish a double full red cockatoo cichlid idk how this would work but a cockatoo with a EBJD would make a colorful tank

I currently have a 60 gallon with a Dempsey, Convict, Firemouth, Green Severum, 3 spotted Pictus, and 8 Black Widows. They're all semi-aggressive (The Firemouth being the most aggressive currently), they're all cool looking, and they all live together just fine, but there are a LOT of hiding places,

Long term, this won't work.. Which is why I've started setting up a 125g.

But you could try a mix of African Cichlids - they're colorful, and a lot of people "overcrowd" their tanks because it tends to cut down on aggression. Just make sure you know what size your fish WILL get to if you don't plan on upgrading.

BTW, what's your backup plan for when your semi's get *really* aggressive, and don't let up? (That happened with my Firemouth - she started nailing on my Severum.. I gave her something else to do by getting the Black Widows.. That'll work long enough for me to finish their other tank.
