I've got a 120 that will have a trickle filter (where you make it out of Rubbermaid drawers. That will be sitting in an empty tank, and I need to find a good pump to pump the water back up to the tank. Most likely there will be an Oscar and pleco in there, so it will need good filtration. I was wondering if a pond pump would be a good idea? That's convenient because lowes carries them and it would be easy for a return if there were any problems. Please any ideas would be appreciated!

A pond pump will work but you'll have to take some time to get the output similar to the intake in terms of water volume.
