Recommended tank size

Hi all,

I'm just chasing people's opinions on a suitable tank size for 2 tiger oscars 2 Texas and 1 green terror I currently have these fish housed in a 4x2x18 330l tank will this stunt there growth?.

Imo 125g for the two oscars and a 55g for the other two, so 180-200gal? Thats what ID stock them in anyway... Best of luck angel

125 gal and up id say a 180 gal would be best

It will not stunt there growth but if you can try and get something in the 180 - 265 gal tanks. Believe me you would love the sight of them in something like that.

anything above a 125(6x2x2 i think it is) would probably work .

6x2x2 180 would work. but with these fish the bigger the better.

Get a 180, and then you can put some more stuff with them ..

I agree - probably a 125g as a minimum...with a 180 far superior...

It will also depend on whether your Texas turn out to be a pair or not (or two psycho males)...

IMO i would say minimum 200g

Like others said, I think a 180 would be a safe play. If bigger is an option, always go bigger.
