Hi im planning ahead for the next couple of weeks and thinking what fish to get for my tank which is a rekord 60 14.27 gallon tank in there so far a 5 glow light tetra's. But in the next couple of weeks as long as the water tests ok i want to add some more fish i want a bottom feader/algae eater and was wondering what would be best.

I was thinking along the lines of maybe a clown loach or japenese sucker fish what would you guys recomend?

thanks for the replys they are lovly looking little cats. So if im waiting for signs of algae before getting any of those i will probably add another fish to the community instead in a couple of weeks then.

havnt decided what else to get though maybe some zebra danios?

Is it just me or isnt the whole point not to have any alagae. Which means excellent water quality along with bi weekly water changes

zenra danios are active, and hang out at the top and sometimes middle, occassionally zipping to the bottom. it would balance your tanks zones, and make use of the little bit of space you have

well i did kinda think that but ive always thought a bit of algae was unavoidable which is why it's handy to get an algea eater of some sort.

yeah i know my tanks only small but i plan on stocking with small fish 1"-2" max for this aqaurium so i am aiming for the 1 inch of fish per gallon rule.
