GET A MOTORO .. DONT GET "TEA CUPS"

:lol2:

Zach don't care about the rules

Rays are restricted to own in California (stupid rule), and also Florida. Good luck finding rays and be careful. Stiff fine if you get caught, and you lose your fish.

:headbang2:

LOL zach does.... just dont buy a teacup.. get a nice sized motoro (6+inches)
i have had alot of rays LOL

Moto's are a good beg. Teacup isn't really a sp of ray,.... it's another way of saying "I don't know what it is but it's brown and only 3.5" right now." That articles great for the nohow on rays. I suggest printing it and bringing it with you until you can recite the words verbatim!

I SERIOUSLY do not understand the rationility of this rule!

But I strongly reccommend starting with a Motoro for experience... then perhaps adding or upgrading to PDRs...

LEOs are good for noobs, but their more money..

my very frist ray was a hystrix at 3-4"
i grew her till about 7" then traded her in...

i sat MOTS are good frist rays b.c. they are cheap and usally come about 6+ "
'teacups' are usally small
if you heap out and got for a 'teacup' your only gunna save like 40-50$

my advice for noobs with rays
THE BIGGER THE RAY, THE EAISER TO FEED
small rays need the shrimp cut into very very very tiny peices.
larger rays you can just throw the whole shrimp in...

just dont let all all the myths about rays scare you..
they are easy to care for if.
1-they are well establish before you buy it(make sure it eats b4 you buy it)
2-you do your waterchanges 1-2 a week
thats basicly it..
