do jags like strong current? Will they appreciate a good power head with some turbulence in the tank or are the waters they come from more calm? I see some dovii tanks set up with a ton or current like a river set up. Do jags like the same thing?
Jags are pretty adaptable, there found in both lakes and streams, parachromis managuensis got its name from the holotype being found in lake managua but are found in alot of the lakes and rivers in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras. They have also been introduced to other areas as a food fish and seemed to have adapted well.
In the aquarium as long as the extremes are avoided they should do OK.
