Just musing really, but is it possible to re-use the sections from a sectional concrete garage as the walls of an ubertank?
I was trying to price up my project when it suddenly dawned on me that next year, I'm dismantling and getting rid of a concrete garage. The sections are in good condition, it's just that the door's beyond repair as is the roof (and I have a bigger, newer garage).
It'd save me some pennies on concrete blocks, too.
On another note, I asked my brother how much the blocks are the other day, and he asked how many I was looking at - I said I'd worked it out roughly to 91 - his response was "91? 91?!? Why don't you just sink it in the ground??" Methinks Greg is no more clued up on fish than he was last time I saw him, we're talking about building a tropical fish tank in my garden, in the UK midlands!
Gets a bit chilly in winter
