Hello people, im speaking on behalf of my cousin whom is having a problem with algae. He told me overnight that his tank water was red, no introduction of new fish or drift wood. His ammonia, ph, nitrate/nitrite levels are all good, so i believe it is red algae. So far what i told him is to put towels on the tank so no light gets in, to stop feeding temporarily and not to do water changes until i find out what to do. So im posting this looking for information on what he should do, i know its red algae. Im wondering if you guys have had any experiances and/or suggestions. Thank you.
