Red Arowana

Hi all purchased this fish about 2months ago,it was a lite pink but as his growing his colour is changing to a nice red colour,thought they dyed the fish but why is he getting darker as he grows?

is it the angle? if it was dyed, the color will deffinatly fade as it grows. some silvers keep a good amount of red, but most fade with age. kinda rare to have a silver with a ton of red in it.

If it is dyed and it looses all its coloring, well then you could just dye it again, right?

Looks like it's dyed. It'll fade away with age.
